The ALSChat (youngwoo character board) application can be used on electronic devices such as smartphones, iPads, and Galaxy. The guardian shows the Youngwoo character board to the patient, sees the movement of the pupils instructed by the patient for each group consisting of 6 directions, and presses the character board where the pupil points.

In the case of "I love you", if the patient points to the 8 o'clock direction with the pupil, the guardian presses K,L,M,N,O at 8 o'clock, and when pointing at the patient 2 o'clock on the next screen, "L" is entered and the vowel screen is displayed.
